On January 11, 2026, The Rolo’s had the pleasure of giving two concerts at a beautiful venue in Amersfoort. It was part of a series of concerts that can be found at http://www.wachtermuziek.nl. The organizers of these concerts are Hugo and Heleen Barbas. The Rolo’s received a very warm welcome, and the two concerts were completely sold out, with only a few tickets remaining. While the program usually focuses on classical music, an exception was made for The Rolo’s. Annemijn and Floris presented a varied program, ranging from classical to jazz and from jazz to latin. A mix of existing compositions, original compositions, and arrangements delighted the audience. The audience was thrilled to see these young, talented, and passionate musicians effortlessly switch between all the styles. The children themself handled the announcements with the greatest of ease and enjoyment. Their father, Jeroen, also played several pieces from the children’s jazz repertoire, playing the bass part on the electric piano. The trio’s interplay was greatly appreciated by the audience.
